The primary purpose of this tool is to overcome the challenge of locating precisely identical granular sub-sectors. Instead, it focuses on producing an anchor valuation input for assets that share similar risk factor characteristics within a segment. Beyond that level, the idiosyncratic aspects of the valuation are for the user to add by adjusting the Anchor value.
Things to Note
Constituent-level data is available in a separate tool, offering you the ability to create your own peer groups on your desktop based on your own selection criteria. Differences amongst factor and segment selections also explain most of the variance of the Anchor Valuation.
