Recommendations of the Review Committee (January 2025)
The vast majority of respondents were happy with TICCS® and found it clear and useful. Most of the comments in the consultation report were granular, focusing on specific points of specific classifications, especially within the industrial pillar.
Pillar one (Business Risk)
Out of 25 respondents, 92% of respondents to the 2025 TICCS® consultation considered this pillar to serve a clear purpose.
No recommendations provided given that majority are clear with the guidelines.-
Pillar two (Industrial Activity)
However, the count for pillar 2’s responses dropped to 19.
Out of 19 responses, the proportion of respondents to the 2025 TICCS® consultation who answered that the following Industrial Activity Superclasses served a clear purpose.

79% IC30 – Social Infrastructure
79% IC40 – Energy and Water Resources

Definition for each subclass level asset was recommended by the Review Committee.
We will update the subclass definition to reflect targeted response in IC20 Environmental Services, to specify the requirement to cover the entire stages of the waste management process.
To provide clarity, the name of the IC40 Energy and Water Resources Superclass will be updated to exclude the term ‘water’.
Expand IC101010 to include nuclear fusion technologies.
Suggested new Asset Subclasses were considered by the Review Committee and also the fundamental economic criteria described above.

EV Charging infrastructures
Ferry Transport/specialty logistic transportations

Out of 17 responses, 82% of the consultation respondents found the third TICCS® pillar to serve a clear purpose.

Out of 16 responses, 81% of the consultation respondents found the third TICCS® pillar to serve a clear purpose.
