How do you ensure quality control of carbon data?

Answer

To ensure data quality, we only use reliable datasets after a thorough review of their technical documentation. Expertise developed in-house is used to check and potentially correct the extracted data, following internal guidelines as well as multiple steps to validate the final data. Finally, we re-evaluate the input data after checking the model estimates against multiple sources of information (company documents, online sources, etc.) and investigating large deviations.
