3.5.4 S4 - Regulators

Bodies that are tasked with regulation of infrastructure include the government, independent regulators such as OFWAT or prudential regulators. Regulatory processes generally comprise three stages: the enactment of enabling legislation, the creation of regulatory administrations and rules, and bringing those rules to bear on organisations whose behaviour is to be influenced or controlled.
