Why are carbon emissions by NAV and EVIC called “financed emissions"?

Answer

"Financed emissions" refer to the greenhouse gas emissions associated with financial activities and investments. These emissions are generated by projects, businesses, or activities that are funded by financial institutions, such as banks, investment funds, and insurance companies. Our financed emissions are measured in terms of NAV and EVIC of a company.
